Make it stand out without making it unreadable
Unicode text is a visual trick, not official formatting. A few habits keep it useful.
Style a little, not everything
One styled name or hook line is eye-catching. Whole paragraphs are tiring to read, and harder for search tools to understand.
Keep the important parts plain
Screen readers may read styled characters letter by letter or skip them. Put contact details, dates and calls to action in normal text.
Test before you rely on it
Fonts differ between iPhone, Android and desktop. Check the result in the app, and keep a plain copy of your text.
Unicode font FAQ
Is this Unicode text generator free?
Yes. It is free, needs no account, and runs in your browser.
Will the styles work on Instagram, TikTok, Discord and LinkedIn?
Many do, in many fields, but support varies by app, device and field. Usernames on Instagram, TikTok and Discord only accept basic characters. Each platform page shows which fields are likely to accept styled text, and the preview helps you check before you paste.
What is the difference between Unicode text and real fonts?
A font changes how the same letters are drawn and needs to be installed. Unicode styled text replaces the letters with different characters, so it can be pasted into apps that do not let you choose a font. The trade-off is that search tools and screen readers may not read it as normal words.
Do you store the text I type?
No. Conversion happens in your browser. Your text is never sent to a server, and analytics events never include it.
Why do some characters display differently, or as boxes?
Each device and app picks its own fonts for Unicode characters. If a font lacks a character, the system substitutes another one or shows a box. Widely used styles such as bold, italic and cursive are the safest.
Is styled Unicode text accessible?
Not always. Screen readers may read styled characters one by one or skip them. Use styled text for a few words of emphasis and keep important information in plain text.
